Farewell: An Installation

Farewell, my friend

I am seeing off a friend who is leaving Kwun Tong for North Point, which is a rather sad scene.

My friend needs to physically travel three thousand three hundred meters, and the journey would last seven hundred and twenty seconds.

To commemorate the departure of my friend, I have built a physical monument and it would resemble the wave that she is riding on. The monument would move too, along with the movement of the plank tidally. This monument is both a divider and a connector which have loosely separated farewells and reunions.
